EV Alternative to Motability

With Motability not changing anytime soon with regard to EV’s, Cap, Etc. I decided to see what else was out there and found this site, EVEZY, They offer Electric cars, but not as a lease, no contract with everything included for a one monthly payment. Cancel at anytime. There is an upfront payment but this is taken as your monthly payments. Sounds too good to be true, the only issue I can see from looking at the forums is that the car is controlled by their app, there is a spy camera to monitor your driving, and the cars on offer seem to be used with some older models. I know this might not suit everyone but if you want to have the use of an EV car for a short period with no long term commitment when compared to a lease or PCP then this might be for you. Must say I don’t really see how they make any money out of this.

I’ve heard of EVEZY (great name by the way) and I like what they’re doing. The company looks small at the moment in terms of coverage and the cars are quite expensive but I’d like to think their prices will decrease over time. Paying a monthly subscription for a car just like you pay for Netflix is interesting.

The Idea is good and Evezy have become very popular especially for people wanting to change cars on a regular basis,(minimum lease is one month)

Problem now is waiting times for cars which because of the popularity has become long.

Also there’s a £1000 insurance access on any claim you might have to make ever how minor.

And as already been stated you never get the key to the car its all done through your smart phone.

BMW i3 would be £399 a month all in, but only one spec and in one colour(white)is available.

Doesn’t seem a good alternative to me. Far too expensive. Only any good for a short term deal.
