Don’t feel it’s too important so I posting in off topic.
I have a disabled family member and would be the nominated driver for my parent. We struggle to get about with no car. Across the uk it seems everywhere is having massive backlogs for driving lessons and tests. This is the issue for me, I’ve been told aboht half a year wait to start learning and longer for a test. Even booking theory test is 3 months. I’ve seen sites offering lessons but for £1k+. does anyone else have issues like this with family members perhaps? I’ve also seen things like crash courses/ intense driving courses where they claim they can get you passed within a week, not sure much about this.  Does anyone have more knowlendge or recommendations. Thanks

Obviously you need to pass theory first these days, apply for provisional licence, then it’s matter of how good the instructor is on crash courses and more importantly how confident you feel, you can learn in short space of time and pass?
