Over 7 million people a year die as a result of polluted air and much of the global problem is generated by vehicles.  Since the outbreak of CV19 and people being forced to live a simple life without much need for driving and polution levels have plummeted and our beautiful world is able to breath again!!

Is it time mobility lead the way and only facilitated the buying of electric or phev vehicles??   Now would be a great time to make this change for the good of everyone.

The governments of the World have well and truly put their cards on the table in where they stand with anything that uses fossil fuels because yesterday they did deals with OPEC to help prop up oil prices because ours and all the other governments are going to lose so much money in revenue in the coming year by not forcing the cost of oil up.

Put two and two together you can see why governments will like to be seen as helping the environment for the vote but work behind the scenes to keep us dependant on oil and that in turn goes hand in hand with no help for Motability ability to supply electric cars to it’s customers.

Of course they’ve put in dates for compulsory electric cars in 10 to 15 years time but those dates are given under the hope of having in place a suitable revenue system that screws motorist for every penny they can but until that day comes, oil is king and expect no reduction of the AP on electric cars in the near future.

Just my personal thoughts by the way.?

You don’t get these, and the real notes they make.

You cannot do a splash and dash at the filling station. very important to me that..

I was tempted to get a so called self charging hybrid but is it worth it right now..as normally my driving is on varied roads. A trip to visit my mum in london is 140 miles one way, 120 are prob motorway miles.

Right now i could not do an ev or a phev as i’d be stuck somewhere i don’t want to be, to charge it up and thats a big problem for me. Due to a brain injury and it being on go, all the time. not everyone’s life is suited to elec cars.. although right now it would be ok.. also i got no driveway and no where near me to charge one.

Defeats the purpose of having a car for my mobility, it just doen’t work for everyone.

Absolutely rox your car must fit your needs, but times are changing and each passing year will see fewer petrol/diesel cars and more BEVs. So in the future you will need to change or be left with very limited car choice.

As I’ve said before you can contact your local council and ask them to fit a charger on your street, I don’t know if they would fit it for disabled drivers only but you could ask.

Battery technology is moving fast and in the future filling your battery will be as quick as filling your petrol car but that may be a number of years away.

What ever it is we the ppl get played, and get left picking up the tab for some experiment or social engeering.

They the powers at be / the system.. cause the chaos then offer the solutions to the problems.. They back all sides as they just create or print the money so they winout and stay at the rudder.. It’s never really to make things better, just to enslave us more.. nothing is free but the air we breathe.. nothing will happen that cannot be monitized by them to exploit us.. I see a future where cars are not affordable for the masses, to force us all onto public transport, sharing etc, but now with this virus private cars are the safest form of travel. truth is all we can live in, is the now then it’s gone and you can never go back and change it..
