David McInallyHi folks,
Thought I’d ask, just for fun, what would your dream car be on the Motability Scheme? Either one you wish was on it or one currently on it?
Mine would be either a Range Rover Evoque or a Jaguar EPace (both automatic!!) - CreatorTopic

Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed Safety, I have already ordered the Design model @£1699, but would love exceed with all it extras
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

BobOrdered Mercedes CLA 220d 190 Shooting brake in March. Dream car CLA 45s 420hp shooting brake, most powerful 2 litre engine available, Problem is holding on to your driving licence.

Kranger<p style=”text-align: left;”>I dream of a GAZ 23, found it on the list of retro cars https://en.avtoclassika.com/carmarket/, but it is very expensive for me.</p>
March 30, 2020 at 5:37 pm #110668None of my dream cars would ever make it onto the scheme But I like Bob’s but the saloon rather than the shooting brake.

OscarOneFor me, it would have to be the Land Rover Defender 110. Great for the dog, my luggage, the occasional days out to the countryside… Be lovely if the AP was in the “people solely reliant on benefits” bracket but being Mota, the powers that be don’t live in the real world and charge AP’s that most customers have ever seen let alone had in savings.
March 30, 2020 at 8:12 pm #110672I think I’m with Oscar. A Defender 110 would do nicely thank you very much.
An auto would be even better. ?? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?

CarlIm with the suvguy…. any TELSA but the model Y is within scheme limits so is realistic….and ofcourse its he Ferrari of electric cars……?
March 31, 2020 at 10:18 am #110694Any of the diesel auto pickups would be welcome on the scheme with a cab on the back, 5 seats, raised for easy access and easy to use ramps or have a hoist fitted.
March 31, 2020 at 1:16 pm #110726The Seat Tarraco has been put on my short list for next year as it looks like one of the fewer cars today, what with the Alhambra, Touran, Sharan amongst others going the way of the dinosaurs and the Tiguan Allspace being too expensive for me it a small pool of cars at reasonable price AP with auto-box that can carry an assembled pavement scooter with 5 usable seats.
The AP on any hybrid versions of those cars will be for sure out of my affordability but the Tarraco is one of those rarities AP wise being reasonable and will be interesting to see how the AP goes on this one over the next year as If I remember right the Alteca had a good AP when it first came to market then shot through the roof for about a year before settling back down.
March 31, 2020 at 1:20 pm #110728something along the lines of a suzuki jimny, 2 seats and a usable load space behind.
ive only just changed so theyve got 3 years to sort it out lol.
March 31, 2020 at 2:47 pm #110733A lottery win would see me comfortably sat in a middle row seat of the six seater version of the BMW X7.

ThargWell, I wanted to say BMW 3 series, 2 door coupe or convertible with an acceptable (around 2lt/190bhp) engine. But there ain’t none. Closest I can find is a 4 series which looks too flashy and well expensive. A 2-series coupe would be OK but I reckon they’ll disappear soon. Pity.

JaneU would like a volvo xc90??
March 31, 2020 at 4:48 pm #110754I’m with you Tharg as I would love a 3 series. I currently drive a 4 series and love it but it’s going back soon as my lease is up. Due to the uncertainty with what will happen economy wise in the future I’ve decided to go back on the scheme and have a car on order. Unfortunately it’s a poor substitute for my BMW but it’s something I’ve had to do.

Nick HighfieldHi bob did they let you order any extras with that car? Regards nick.
March 31, 2020 at 7:13 pm #110763@Elliot. What have you ordered? My memory is not what it was. Don’t take it personally that Tharg thinks your car is ‘flashy’ – made me laugh.
March 31, 2020 at 7:16 pm #110764I’ve ordered a Mercedes CLA 200.
Would have loved the 220 but I don’t want the shooting brake.
March 31, 2020 at 7:17 pm #110765I did test drive one but it’s a big step down in power.
March 31, 2020 at 7:25 pm #110768Need a large-ish 7 seater so,
- New Kia Sorrento
- New Landrover Defender 110
- MercedesBenz GLB AMG Line
- VW Caravele
To name but a few. Got until Q1 2021 so thinking about new possibilities keeps me occupied at the moment.
Current Car
KIA Sportage GT Line Mhev
Previous Cars
Peugeot 5008 Allure Premium
VW Touran SEL
Citreon C4 PicassoMarch 31, 2020 at 9:44 pm #110781
BobHi Nick. Didn’t ask for any extras, when ordered our CLA 220 shooting brake, with the deposit being so high and the car being well specked, didn’t see any point spending more on extras, would of liked the 10 inch drivers digital screen, but that only comes with premium and premium plus models, priority for me was the Mercedes 190 diesel 8 speed engine.

ThargJane – Volvo XC90? Can I get it in a two-door version with a step ladder to aid access? lol
April 1, 2020 at 9:37 am #110820
ThargWhat’s so wrong about wanting a two-door coupe? Thought this was quite nice…
April 2, 2020 at 7:03 pm #110920Tharg, it looks like your dream is going to come true regarding the 3 series.
