Got an email today apparently I’ve been hacked and my passwords are known, been tracked for months,  I’ve been on alsorts of weird and wonderful websites ?, and settle a price for blah blah blah…

Weird though as I only use certain email addresses for certain places, same goes for passwords…

The password given in my scam email matches 4 places…

never had one of those thankfully. ive pretty decent security on the pc(Malwarebytes premium) and have used them for a long time.

Sites get hacked and they get your email and password and any other details on you. They then target you with a scam email. I have had one of those emails before ajn or they try to login using those details to other sites.

I now use a password manager and it generates a different new password for any site, allthough if someone really want’s to get in they can run some program and run a text file with a dictionary or try every combo possible so is only a matter of time till they would get in..

Many years ago now, had a hacker login to my ebay and listed a brand new hdtv for sale buy it now for 1p

Have been looking for a go pro on eb@y though, been quite active on there recently, however details don’t match..

Yeah your right there rox, with every security seems to come a hack, and if you end up a target, it’s just a matter of time for a breach of that security..

But as mentioned the email is set for minimum use, with attached password that’s hacked, seems slightly dodge..

However guess for some it’s a hobby to break through, rather easily it seems..
