Googled it and can’t find anything about motability cars. Some schemes paying £5.5k

“IF” they do you could buy a car with an MOT keep it 6 months to qualify and……… reduce that ridiculous AP?

It would be great but unfortunately they don’t allow it, I asked a few years ago when scrappage schemes were on everywhere. There just isn’t enough profit in Motability sales, the allowance they would give a private punter is given to Motability as a discount.

If I seem a little strange, that's because I am.

        Skoda Karoq SEL.

But they will take your car in part exchange, aren’t disabled people being denied something here?

Shawn, your car doesn’t get taken as part exchange, it’s a scrappage scheme, they have to be scrapped so no profit from Motability taking your old car as there’s no value left in it just scrap!

I doubt they make a profit on any px, they just trade it on to get rid of it, I doubt it’s put down on their books as a sale?

The salesman told me they have a trader who they get a price from before they take yours, so it goes straight to them.
