Different types of EV chargers

      A question which just crosses my mind. I have a tethered CCS wall charger which MOB fitted free. What would happen if my next car is CHAMEDO.

      I think you can buy adaptors, but I’m just wondering what MOB would think about it.

        You don’t… you have a type 2 cable which fits most EVs now and it won’t matter what car you get next.

        CCS and CHAdeMO are the rapid charging plugs and are attached to the chargers

          The Nissan Leaf is the only ChaDeMo car on offer and that has a type 2 socket for AC charging.   Your cable will fit.

          You would need to search for ChaDeMo connections when public charging using DC (Rapid) chargers.

              ChaDeMo is max 50kW I believe in Europe.

                I’ve seen 100kW available on some gridserve units
