Customer representation on MB decision making

Apologies,  I searched the forum history and could not find anything nor could I find it generally online.

One thing that I have been increasingly aware of is that MB is becoming increasing distant from the needs of ourselves as either customers or service users. There is very little in the way of doing what is right for the customers and even any involvement  in their decision making:  e.g. prices, range of vehicles, extras or even where any cash surplus are used ?

Like shareholders in a company, we are actually funding the business with our own cash and should be treated with similar rights. e.g. an annual AGM where we could vote in/out the board and decide on the direction the business is taking.

Has anyone heard or experienced any participation with MB direction ?

Tried to post a screen shot of the the Group’s corporate structure, from the above page, but it won’t allow it.

Yes, I have read most of the information available but can’t find a representation on the decision making board from any national organisation in the disability sector: e.g. Mencap, Scope, Disabled Drivers association etc.

It is very unusual for a business delivering to a specific sector like ours not to have regular input and scrutiny from independent representative bodies.

How mb is run is in may ways unusual.  No point eemailing them for an answer either, as you will get a phone call back. Meaning any paper trail is nill.
