<p style=”text-align: left;”>I have chose the Citroen c5 air cross as my next car. We went for black but we had to choose a trim option which was between white, red or silver. We were shown the options on a computer screen and in the moment we opted for silver. However we we have since seen the black car with white trim in real life and we prefer this. I contacted dealer straight away but they are being difficult saying it can’t be altered once order has been accepted. Wait is 5 months so car isn’t built yet or even near it. Has anyone ever had a similar issue, am I allowed to change my mind? Still want the car and colour just would like to alter the trim choice. For info car was only ordered a week ago and we rang dealer within days.</p>

They can change it ,if you not happy and only ordered few days ago cancel rhe order full stop.Goto another dealer reorder ,for sake of week or so wont effect delivery wait times.But no reason why they cant chsnge order if only a few days have passed.
The dealer is talking nonsense Lou82. Specification can be changed right up until a few weeks before build, when it gets locked down. They are just being lazy. If it were me I would tell them that you’d like to cancel and re-order, potentially at another dealership. Suspect they will suddenly change their stance.

They can change it I originally ordered a New Citroen C4 1.2 130 EAT8 Shine Plus in Red a few days later I decided to change it to the 1.2 155 EAT8 Shine Plus in Red no problem at all. Turned it good for me as a 155 had just come into the country in Red. Only thing I had to sacrifice to have the car earlier was I opted for the trims to be in Red but this one was silver but was no biggie to me and I said I’d have the car. But if your having to wait for a factory order anyway you may as well have the colour pack you want.
On my old Cactus I had the inserts really stood out as you can see here.
