Hi all,

I waited 8 months for my motability car (Toyota RAV4). Picked it up last year November. In December I had an accident which caused some significant damage. For context it was another car who tried to move into my lane, didn’t see that I was there and hit my side, I panicked and tried to steer right and hit a light pole. So you can imagine the damage is quite a bit.. it’s been in repairs since January. So frustrating ?

10 months seems excessive for even the worst damage, what have Motability said about it – have Motability or yourself suggested placing an order for a new car?

I hope they have put you in a like for like hire car 🙂

Motability should be offering you a termination and start again 10 months is ridiculous they could build a new car in a fraction of that time.

My car was off the road for 3 weeks and I had motability say one more week and they’ll end the lease it came back the next day but was interesting to know
