can this be repaired

      hit and run driver has hit the offside tyre causing some damage. can wheels be repaired through motability.? had car less than a year. no cameras round.

        Yes they can, But.

        You would have to claim via DRLM motor insurance. It would cost a minimum of £100.00 per wheel in excess payment. Each wheel would be classed as an individual claim. So if say 2 wheels where damaged then that’s 2 claims at £100.00 each.

        To be honest I would not bother as it would go down as wear and tear.

        If it bothers you that much, get it done privately. Probably cheaper too.

          Exactly what Joss said, you can expect to pay around £80 for a wheel refurb. Not worth making a claim.
