Hi I had a Ctroen c5x on order for over four weeks and it has been a nightmare dealer said first no problem have unregistered c5x in white in stock, then i’m told all vehicles must be registered  and new vehicles are now order only (no ‘in stock’ ones) not really a problem only a 12 week wait, then told only colours that can be ordered are black or there light silver (whatever that’s called) o.k. lets go with black I told them, then today had a phone call from the dealer to say Citroen are  not taking orders for c5x sense plus models at all so cannot fill the order.

I at this time very happy with my present ride and not bothered about not having my new vehicle on the 16th of july when if is due but I am fed up with the total waste of everybodies time by dealers not being informed and passing on their knowledge to Motability, who I know cannot do anything about delays, but why not be told that a range of vehicles are being removed by the car makers without any notice to us customers

so if anyone knows where I can get a Citroen c5x sense plus in white or black on or abouts the 16th of july in Essex please give me a heads up, in the mean time maybe I will hang on until 1st july for the new MB list and see if shine or shine plus comes back.

Pearl white at no extra cost (thought I’d have to pay £200 extra over price for metallic).

I was lucky enough to place an order for a Shine plus mid November and picked it up 4th May. Apparently missed December build week so build beginning of March. They are build in China so quite a wait after build for shipping.

yep Gary if you are lucky, you ‘can catch the boat’ if not 15 to 20 weeks, I was also told by the dealer pearl white was £200 extra and said that was Citroens choice nothing to do with them (Toomeys Basildon Essex) and would not budge on this but can’t order now anyway so thats that. Still in the market for a C5X if anyone knows of a sense plus (black or white) out there sitting in a nearby dealership please if you could give me a heads up that would be great
