HarryI know makes no sense. You can contact motability and they will tell you where the car is being sold and you can buy it. I bought my last car back at auction £2000 less than the book value.
January 5, 2020 at 12:49 pm #102344Harry did you ask motability for a price and if so was it cheaper than you paid at auction, and how did you find out what auction it was at for sale?
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.January 5, 2020 at 4:41 pm #102355It’s a shame motability doesn’t allow you to buy your car after 3 years with your higher rate payments especially if your car suits your needs.
Great idea. I’d certainly consider it. I know for a fact that the car I have is probably the most pampered in the region. IMO anyway ??
The reason will be due to a contract of some description. Motability will have a contract with someone (company) to move the vehicles on to auction. It will work the same as trade-in cars to main dealers. You can’t (usually) go into a main dealer and ask to buy a car that they’ve had as a trade-in. These cars are usually moved on to second hand car dealers to sell or some main dealers have someone to sort having the cars auctioned.
? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?

Moreton5I found my old car at a dealer by just googling the registration lol

WinstonMy old car was already reserved by an Audi dealership down South before I handed it back
I was told they get notified of what cars are due to be handed back , this is triggered by going in for its first MOT and deals can browse them
and as my old car was the top trim ( at the time ) and good spec with some nice options it had been claimed by an Audi dealership near Middlesbrough
so when I dropped it off and picked up the new one it got shipped straight over to them
i wonder how it’s getting on with it’s new owner ?
they better be looking after it lol

AnnekaWinston I would of so searched for your car and brought it in a flash and not joined the scheme as I love the Q3s

WinstonIf I’d have known that I would have def done a deal with you!
It was a great car Anneka, but a bit like the XC60 ( which is another great car ) it was getting long in the tooth tech wise ( well some of it ) , as it was at the end of its life cycle, the reverse camera had the resolution of a Nokia N95 lol but still a great car which is the main thing
alot of that jazz and new tech doesn’t bother people though!
but only a few weeks to go and you’ll be happy in the new car , I’m sure about that! ??

Anneka<p style=”text-align: left;”>Awwww bless you Winston ?</p>
I was gonna say about the tech part as even in my b class 2016 model has carplay but that’s about it and standard cruise control emergency breaking and auto hold. Oh and the reversing camera that I couldn’t live without.Yes I defo can’t wait ? as the scheme is definitely the right way to go one less thing to worry about just fuel and go.
Gonna be the longest weeks ever but worth the wait for sure.
