Good afternoon,

I hope your all well and safely enjoying the nicer weather ?

I have been given a build date of week 28, what sort of time would I look to be collecting the vehicle? Would adding/removing optional extras impact this?

Very new to this so any advice is always very much appreciated ? Enjoy your Friday evening ???

Hi Matt,

I ordered an Audi q3 however I am going to remove some of the optional extras and was advised this may alter the build date (but was not told weather itl push it back or bring it forward).

Hi Lou. The fact that you’ve been allocated a build week means the factory has accepted the order. Removing the options you ordered won’t make any difference. The car will take 27 hours of production, normally 3-5 days to be transported and accepted at the port of exit, which will be Emden. It can take up to 10 to 15 days to be assigned a ship, then 5 to 10 days at port of entry before a transport to the dealers. 4 days PDI per Motability instructions. So 4 to 5 weeks from build to you picking up.  My advice would be to leave the order now its been accepted at the factory.
