Just watching the debate in Parliament. It’s a strange one as MP’s from different parties are agreeing with each other. I’m personally in favour, especially after hearing a couple of MP’s who are doctors both mention neck cancers that affect arteries and the type of death that results. Be interesting to know others thoughts.

i am in favour having seen my father have a lingering and very painful death his arteries basically died slowly from his feet up over 3 weeks until major organs began to fail. all the doctors could do was give him more and more pain releif which didnt touch the pain. he spent most of his time between massive morphene doses curled up in a foetal position crying. it was horrible to see.

so long as there are checks and balances in place to ensure no one gets railroaded against their wishes i am in favour. at the moment we treat our pets with more dignity.

I have no problems with it either. I mean, we are all going to die after all. Does it matter if it is a few months early at the persons timing and choice.

I’m in favour, watched my dad die in pain and have a member of my extended family with only weeks to live with little quality of life.

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
