What happens when an assigned driver for the motabilty vehicle passes away and the vehicle is still in the three year PIP contract?

Unsure what you mean. Is the assigned driver the lessee of the vehicle? Then contact Motability and inform them of customers death. They will advise from there what to do.

However. if you are talking about a named driver in addition to the lessee, again contact motability. Maybe the lessee can’t drive and relies on the named driver. ?
