I like to think of myself rather cheerful, (even through the pains and lack of sleep) however do you spend most of your time simply being GRUMPY ?

I live a cheerful life. I had a triple heart bypass when I was 59 (14 years ago), and I remember saying to the surgeon ” I’m not worried, I’ve heard you’re a brilliant surgeon, I’m so pleased I managed to get home from the Dominican Republic a few days before I had my heart attack.” He laughed and said I was one of life’s optimists. After a seven hour operation I was proved right, lol.

Chronic pain, being wobbly, and a raft of inconvenient problems won’t dampen that optimism.

Life is good …. There is always something enjoyable just around the corner if you’re prepared to go for it.

After reading his posts for the past few years I think I can say with a fair bit of confidence that wigwam is a grump ?

I come on this Forum to get cheered up but he never fails to depress me ?

I suffer POM syndrome when I’m in a lot of pain as Ive got older but 9/10 I’m a cheerful go lucky person.

However I was once given a Mr Grumpy T shirt so perhaps others have a different view .

A cynic is a typically jaundiced person who has the rare ability to be able to see through common belief and see the truth and faults in today’s society….

Cynics are non-believers and do not conform, and have no interest whatsoever, in conforming to everyday society….

Cynics are usually disliked for their jaded and negative views…

Seems too much hard work for me Ww, prefer just leave everyone get on with there very own sanctimoniousness..?

I to consider myself to be naturally cheerfull but also find that earmarking a certain amount of time in the day for grumpy, whingey, complaining behaviour makes me quite a pleasant individual for the remaining 60 minutes when I’m asleep

I’ve had a go at them before but might as well just buy 2 pounds of straw a chuck it in a bucket. Have tried a bit of gardening but it’s really not my game……resulted in the at home nickname of the black thumbed devil ,courtesy of Mrs w lol ?
