Hello as above the £750 reduction on ap/order runs out 3 Jan 25, if an order is placed on line motability site before that date is the discount available, or must you trundle along to the dealer to put the order in, or is it to late and forget it..

December 23, 2024 at 12:22 pm #295307The New Vehicle Payment is a one-off £750 payment to help you get a brand-new car on the Motability Scheme.
This was due to end on 31 December 2024 for new customers, but we’ve extended it for a few days until 3 January 2025. This is to give you a final chance to order your first car if your dealer is closed over the festive period.
Already have a vehicle on the Scheme? This end date does not affect you. If you’ve not already had the New Vehicle Payment, you’ll get it with your next car, even if that’s after 3 January 2025. You can use our tool to check.

Morning, while out and about noticed a Kia suv, thought that looks nice, being a Kia must be cheap, ended up totally wrong APs are enormous, and tbh can’t see why, terrible on fuel also..December 26, 2024 at 12:31 pm #295400Morning, while out and about noticed a Kia suv, thought that looks nice, being a Kia must be cheap, ended up totally wrong APs are enormous, and tbh can’t see why, terrible on fuel also..
They aren’t what they use to be so ain’t cheap no more and in all fairness a decent car.
The Tucson with exactly the same mild hybrid engine and similar in size is quoted at 44.8mpg, so I wouldn’t pay much attention to Motaclarity’s figurers
December 28, 2024 at 12:08 pm #295432The Kia Sportage has just been refreshed and looks more modern and fresh IMO. I wouldn’t get a Sportage now personally unless it was the new model. Could be a month or two before it comes on the scheme though.
December 28, 2024 at 1:13 pm #295433@Declan thanks for the info, I keep an eye out on YouTube to try keep up with models/specs, I find watching the vids and picking up bits of info easier than reading dealer web sights as I’m aging lol..
Also not in such a rush now after kezo pointed out the info above about the £750 and 3 of jan 25
December 28, 2024 at 4:12 pm #295439My mpg are basically the same as any other petrol suv but don’t go near the sportage If you only do short journeys.

December 30, 2024 at 10:10 am #295468Nothing wrong with the sportage. I’m on 3k miles and will be taking it in for it’s 3rd forced regeneration. I’ve tried all the advice on how to regenerate but nothing works at this rate I don’t know how many forced regenerations I’ll have to go through.
