I know we don’t have a crystal ball as such but does anyone know if it will be back on the scheme? And why it was taken off?

The Peugeot 3008 and 5008 models have been removed due entirely to the semi conductor chip shortage at the French factory in Sochaux that they’re made at.
Is there a reason as the why the diesel versions remain? Do they not use the same chips?
Appreciate the replyOnce Peugeot manages to replenish its stock of micro chips it should be back on the scheme, unfortunately at present there is no way of knowing, with some pretty dire predictions about how long it’ll be before car manufacturers are stocked up with said micro chips.

I ordered mine on about 10 May and it is meant to come in early July. No reports of any change from my Dealer yet but I will E Mail him over the weekend to check.

Odd though as when I posted about this on Facebook a Peugeot saleswoman said they can still be ordered but not being advertised as Peugeot wants to try and shift the diesels.

I’ve joined that group now, looks a useful one.
It does seem a bit strange that you can still get it even though it is not advertised, but she seems pretty genuine.
I will try and get mine to tell me what is going on this week
