Petty ? Absolutely. I tend to look at it another way, Motability have a formula for working out AP’s and stick to it. It’s Business, 38pence is nothing but if they took the 38pence off the 600,000 customer that’s £228,000 and that’s not small change.
the mini countryman 1.5 exclusive auto on wpms has an ap of 38 pence. really, surely it will cost more to collect it lol.

My daughter just bought that exact same car one on pcp, £5000 deposit, £216 a month repayments over 4 years and £80 a month insurance.
Then they make you include a separate paint protection insurance at a cost of about £900 over 4 years, with a £50 excess per scratch or you get one visit a year to do every paint mark for £50.
The salesperson told her from July this year it’s compulsory on all pcp orders? Scam alert.She gets 3 years breakdown cover, I guess they think most will update their car before year 4 as once you’ve repaid a certain amount you are free to hand the car back.
But the best part is , I was reading in her small print, because she’s paid for this paint protection insurance.
When she hands the car back she gets an extra £200 discount off her next finance deal. ?
