Hi,
I have ordered the i3. It’s quicker than the DS3.
I drive around 18000 miles a year.
I am going to change my electricity supplier to British Gas. I will charge the car between midnight and 5am at a cost of 4.70 pence per Kw. The i3 is a 42Kw battery which will easily drive more than 140 miles on a full charge. My daily drive is around trip of about 60 miles. So I will just charge at home each day. So I think I will require 25 Kw of charge each day at a cost of 4.70 pence per Kw.
so let’s say 5 pence x 20kw = £1.00 to travel 60 miles! – and if your maths is better than mine, you will know that it will be even cheaper than this!
No more petrol stations!
I am sure you will save thousands of pounds over the 3 year lease period whichever electric car you decide to drive.
