lol oscarmas,
Micheal i think i can say we all love (sort off) the scheme we are all grateful, and appreciate the scheme, However i thing that people that have been on the scheme for a long long time (like me) and rely heavily on the car, have notice lot and lots of changes to the scheme over the year some good and lots not so good. The scheme is to help us to be more mobile, but after reading lots off posts and personal experiences with the scheme dont always think the scheme the car dealers or motability have our needs as a main priority, yes there a lot of cars and yes everyones needs and wants are difrent , but lots of us need more cars that are acseable like higher up cars(suv ect) wider cars( suv people carriers) automatics, electric tail gate (to sound american ) to name but a few things all of these are usually the higher end vehicles with much higher advanced payments which take most us the current 3 years lease to try n same for our next car.
A lot of cars with nil A/P or very little A/P are usually small (hard to get in n out ) tight inside which can make it very hard and awkward and sore with a lot of disability’s
Every quarter when the prices A/P change and cars are removed and some others put on, we all wait in anticipation for the ability to find the suitable car we all need.
Motability is a charity to help disabled but it is a big business with £4.2 billion pounds which they get from disabled customers .
The scheme will always change cars ect, we are all at the mercy of the car dealers and Motability picking the cars for the scheme if Motability decided we had the choice of between one to two cars we need to accept it say thank you , All we are really looking for is more accessible vehicle at a more affordable price A/P to suit our needs and i dont think thats always the case.
