Hi do not rule out the uk built Toyota corolla it has hybrid part petrol and recharges itself and it is well built.
Dave one of my neighbours who is no disabled and buys privately has a Toyota Corolla hybrid estate it is only the 1.8, but claims he gets 60 +mpg without trying, apparently he has had a few over the years, but the new model is more fuel efficient.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
