the problem is like all things today things have gotten bigger louder etc.
what we had as kids wouldnt cut it today, the fireworks are louder the explosions and flashes are more akin to military kit. i know i used to use it.
some of the stuff available over the counter the barrage type ought to be only available for displays not for someones back garden.
many have warnings saying keep 30 metres from audience but people dont follow instructions they just want something bigger and louder than their neighbours.
do to my issues and i appreciate its my problem and i dont want to be a killjoy i used to be like anyone else have a party in the back garden etc etc i now feel due to the increase in size etc there ought to be only organised displays no sales to the public. and they must be advertised and listed on a local council website so that those with issues can take appropriate action.
last night at around 8 i thought i was in a war zone , out of the blue 3 seperate lots started going off at the same time for about an hour i was a wreck. not slept much since.
