That’s a politicians reply Fwippers. Let’s not worry about the detail then.
The ‘Good Friday agreement’ predates the referendum by 18 years. A hard border or any customs posts on the island of Ireland would break the agreement. Doesn’t that have to be honoured? Do we threaten a very costly and fragile peace through a mad rush to ditch the EU?
