Definitely the start-stop for me – it’s borderline dangerous in the XC60 I have at the moment as the power steering shuts down when the engine shuts off which makes it a real pain when slowing down for a tight junction when you really want to pre-turn the wheel a little to get ready to go around the bend. Might not be as bad if it actually waited for the car to stop but it shuts off the engine before the car actually stops and I don’t personally believe it makes any real difference to the economy.
Can’t say I’m happy about the lack of a spare wheel but, touch wood, in the last 33 months it hasn’t bitten me in the backside.
