Reduce the speed limit on single carriageways to 50mph. It’s ridiculous that you can drive at close on motorway speeds on a country road. Enforce a 20mph limit on any road passing a school, especially primary schools where pram pushing parents push their little ones onto the road before stopping to look for traffic.
