Sadly, it won’t be released, have time to trickle onto Motability (?) for me.
I’ve had some lovely cars over the years. I lived in the ‘able’ world for 50 years and had a great job but the problems I’ve carried since birth suddenly smashed me. Cars are my absolute passion and Motability has allowed me to continue to have this passion. I am so grateful to them. I’m only on my first car and even though I’m only going to go downhill from here I worry every single day that I’ll be binned off at my next assessment. I can’t be fixed, I’m broken. And I’m having joint replacements as pain management so I’m scared to poop that PIP will just see this, that I’ve had more and more surgery and think oh he’s fine.
Something I have noticed in the past couple of years is that medical ‘professionals’ <b><u>do not</u></b> read past the first line of your notes.
Latest one;
Doctor – ”Yes, please can you travel 80 miles to a meds review”
Doctor – ”So Wayne, why are you still on so much morphine, you’ve just had more spinal injections and a new hip”
Enter Wayne, doc sees me……..
Doctor – “Oh, let me read your notes, I’m so sorry, I only saw you’d recently had surgery. Was the trip painful?”
Mrs Wayne – “I’ll tell you what doc, we’ll just go shall we?”
