I’m sure the dealer should supply your evidence of exemption on first registration of the vehicle.
I’d guess the dealer doesn’t deal with many disabled buyers off the scheme?
As surely if that was the case all of us would need to pay for road tax then claim it back, on the scheme too?
Thinking about it the first time I claimed my exemption I didn’t receive a refund in outstanding road tax on our car.
