    It would be nice to be able to take advantage of these offers.

    But being tied to only one supplier (npower) and stuck on a restricted (obsolete) legacy tariff with a non-standard meter the options are nil. We can’t even have a smart meter fitted as none are manufactured for these restricted obsolete tariffs.

    After the regulator intervened, they did offer to put us onto a ‘single band’ tariff but they did admit that it would cost upto 50% more than the obsolete tariff we are currently on!

    It makes having an EV a total non-starter.
