Before taking the plunge, you might want to google something like “problems with the VW group 1.5 TSi engine”.
Kangarooing when on the warm up cycle, worse in manual transmission cars but certainly not unheard of in automatics, and as yet, VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda have not been able to come up with a proper fix – that’s if they even acknowledge the fact that there is a problem.
If it were me I’d pay the extra for the 2.0 TSi or (shame on me!) go diesel.
