Ruth Davidson is a very decent person unlike some others, the word is that her resignation is nothing to do with today’s announcement, but I would take that with a pinch of salt.
I was a bit upset with her and her Scottish colleagues not doing more to represent the Scottish peoples vote to remain in the eu. Scotland voted overwhelmingly to stay in the EU but I don’t think I have heard a Scottish Tory MP back that position.
There are 10 DUP members of Parliament who have, like it or not, put northern island at the centre of this debate. We have 13 Tory MPs and Scotland’s wishes have been ignored.
If she does go I hope, but I’m not holding my breath, that whoever takes her place puts Scotland’s priorities to the top of any list they may have.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
