Ok that’s odd then Dave my tiguan has the camera and remote opening and closing tailgate with the feature of waving a foot under the rear bumper.
The reason seat and Vw gave in the USA was it is a safety feature on 7 seat cars? Then another dealer said it’s because there is no reverse camera? Sounds like a cop out to me.
But I agree they shouldn’t sell cars without knowing all features after all that’s their job.
I did make sure the dealer went through all features on mine. I think I’d have walked away if they left the closing feature off of ours.
No dealer would have talked me into entering a PIN number.
