Have they moved somewhere else Phil? A couple of months ago I drove to Stansted, the route takes me past the St.Ives VW dealership, on my return a few days later it was boarded up, no signs saying they were closing or moving. Turns out they’d moved to Huntingdon beside an Audi dealership.
The emissions scandal was only 4 years ago and was the biggest disaster to the motoring industry that I can remember in my nearly 60 years. Mercedes, BMW and others had diesel engines in the pipeline which produce virtually zero NOX emissions in real world driving, but thanks to VAG only a few of them will ever make it on to the roads.
