the renegade trailhawk or ltd is on my list for next car, the compass is bigger than i need.like others have said if you do some miles then the deisel would be my choice.
The compass isn’t actually much different in size it’s only 15cm longer and 2cm wider. It’s also 5cm smaller in height than the renegade. Will be handing our renegade over next month for a limited compass auto.
When comparing specs we felt we got a lot more of what we wanted with the compass than with the renegade. It would cost about £1500 extra to add some of the extras the compass comes with to a limited or trailhawk renegade such as power folding mirrors, keyless entry, rear backup camera, automatic park assist, blind spot detection. The main thing the renegade has over the compass is the LED headlights as the compass still uses halogen projector head lamps.
One problem with the compass is if you want a particular colour as Jeep only allow ordering from current stock, dealers aren’t allowed to make a factory order.
