Yes you can, if you wanted to drive in electric all the time you could as long as you charged accordingly and the journeys were within the limit.The Mini has a Max e drive setting so you stay in electric if you wish, but the default setting is hybrid were it will kick in and out of ev automatically, or if you wish you can drive it in petrol only mode with sport setting on which becomes quite brisk.
