Hi Barry, I suffer with back problems and went from the very comfortable Golf GTD to the also very comfortable, but more easily accessible, Seat Alhambra Xcellence. This has fully powered front seats, one can be low, the other high. That might be worth you test driving, and of course it has bags of space.
