Not sure if this is the same thing your asking, but anyway heres what happened to us…
My wife lost her PIP, but motability let us keep the car for about 5 month after, with the understanding we pay back the cost motability would have got from PIP money, we won without going to a tribunal and had to pay £1074 to motability before we could order a new car.
