We are ignoring the elephant in the room, there is no “typical” or “standard” disabled person. There are certainly “groups” of disabilities that “maybe” would allow a disability pack to be introduced but maybe a better way would be to offer packs, as standard. Packs where the contents can be varied around the edges.

obviously cost will come into it so there would need to be a limit to “free” packs but grants could be set up for those who can’t afford stuff not included in the pack.

For instance if you needed front and rear cameras and electric lights and wipers then that could be a pack.

The cost of the pack would probably need to be capped at maybe £1000 maybe £1500, but they certainly couldn’t be open ended.

Being able to tinker with the pack would mean you don’t get stuff you don’t need and would hopefully keep the cost down.
