I have a different view on this. If the price is locked in when you order the car then I don’t understand why we then think we have a right to the lower price if the advance payment goes down. Nowhere outside of Motability would that be allowed once an order has been made. I don’t even know why Motability don’t start the contract from when the order is made and not when the pin is put in (obviously the payments would not start until the car is delivered).

Although Motability don’t like dealers adjusting APs, most decent ones will do it.
