    Went to fill up the WAV at the local Supermarket. £1.89 per litre. I could only bring myself to put half a tank in. I feel a little anxious.

    Blimey. That’s expensive for a supermarket, even for diesel. The fuel station in our village is ‘only’ 180.9p for diesel, which is 30p per litre more than unleaded. Prior to Trump deciding that another major oil producing country (coincidence of course) needed ‘liberating’, the price differential between unleaded and diesel was just 10p.
