BigDave – i mentioned this as i’m sure BMW did this for us 2 leases ago, this dealer said that since they only sell pre reg cars and any new is a motability order they cant do anything with it. Not overly fussed this time round. Just a waiting game for car to be delivered now. cheers for reply!
As I said in my post above, it is at the sole discretion of the dealership if they will adjust the AP, either without prompt or if the customer asks.
Otherwise it is as per the scheme rules i.e. the AP is rigidly fixed at the time of your order.
Your BMW dealer was obviously more ameniable than your current one!
