Also what seems to be missed is the value of a hand back in the case of either medical deterioration or loss of DLA/PIP/WPMS.
Motability has many faults, and at the moment seems to be making it’s product worse, but there’s significant value, or reassurance for me that I won’t be stuck paying out £££ for something I can’t use in the future, or finding £££ that has been removed because I lost my award.
….And that’s before you consider how many of these private leases will allow you to install a hoist / driving adaptions etc.
