They state on the mileage page that the £0.25 per mile includes a component for the additional insurance cover as well.
Private leases, outside of some salary sacrifice, don’t usually include insurance at all .. so while I’m not happy with the increase in the slightest, it may need to be ‘a bit higher’ as it’s more than just what would normally be covered.
