The Toyota has a smaller battery than my Enyaq so not an accurate comparison but a 100% charge of the Enyaq at home would cost me about £6. I did a 50 to 100% charge Weds night for £2.88, that gave me a range of around 275 miles, others get better economy. My most expensive month was Feb last year, £19.88 for 284kWh. My previous petrol Ateca was costing £100-£120 a month.
The Toyota has a WLTP range of 265 miles so probably around 230 in summer and 175 – 190 in winter, but it does have a heatpump as standard which will help in the winter.
It looks like Octopus are cutting their IntelligentGo rates so that £6 should be £3 shortly.
I certainly wouldn’t go back to petrol/diesel, I have a neighbour who won’t have electric due to “all the faffing about charging at home” It takes me under 10mins to connect up using the Kerbocharge gully, if I had a driveway that would reduce it to about 2 minutes!.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
