I’m not sure whether or not dealers have the option to buy returned cars, or whether they all have to go to auction, but a dealer would have to add on their margin plus the cost of warranty etc which would probably make it as unviable for them as it always was for us when Motability used to quote over the top prices. No harm in asking though When our previous car (BMW X1) was returned, I set up a Google Alert on the registration number. It was a couple of months later, but I finally got an alert that it was for sale at a BMW specialist in North London. Unfortunately, the auctions that Motability use are only open to registered traders, so even if you spot it there you can’t buy it.

The Suzuki has a 7 year manufactures warranty

Ah, yes. Just their mark up to take into account then.

Now the new model is coming out I am probably looking at £21,000/22,000 at this present time and £19,000/£20,000 for a 4 year old Across 30,000 miles.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
