I can see it being a particular problem for people like myself, who employ more than one PA (as in an extended carer), who has two drivers over 30 who (so far, before they increase the age limit and possibly even higher in the future), do not have to have one fitted, but if I then employ a third PA who would be under 30, which would then trigger all three drivers to use one. Then how happy and willing would the two older drivers be to be made to use the system.

Is there then a chance of the the two older PA’s no longer wanting to work under these changed conditions of employment and deciding to terminate their contact and leave, thus leaving me with a major problem. My only solution would be to only employ people over 30 in future. This solution could leave any under 30 leaser who employs PA’s, with a devalued quality of life by not being able to have PA’s in their own age group. Also how many of us would class someone of 29 years of ageĀ  and with possibly 11 years of driving experience as a young driver.

Motability and the Government (for the first time in the 49 years history of this so called charity, have reduced or stopped any positive (beneficial) discrimination in the benefit of using Motability. Could this then be classed as clear discrimination against Motability users.

What are the chances of this being a testing system for the Government and Insurance companies to eventually have similar systems fitted in all new cars in the future.

Sorry for any mistakes, as it is harder since taking the stroke in 2024.
