putting the air trim and the gt-line trim on at 0ap was bonkers i mean who in their right mind would order the air when the extras of the gt-line meant no higher initial outlay. most would just see it as a free upgrade. fortunately the air has all my must haves and most nice to haves the only thing i would have liked is electric boot opening although the ev 4 isnt that high so not much effort required. i just hope it makes it to the 28th. or maybe put the ev 4 fastback on at 0ap lol i know there arent many that like it but i think its ok.
Yes it was bonkers, but I guess it served their purpose of getting x amount out on the road, as advertisement. I expect the GT Line will return with an higher AP over the next quarter or 2.
The Air is generously equiped, more so than a base model ICE. Its a shame electric seats, if only the drivers side was electric, but that has never been the case other than with some Chinese cars. Reading what @MFillingham was saying about the EV3/5 tailgates being lightweight, you should have no problems on the 4. Most important creature comforts are there, as well as a data usb port, which will be one less headache for you. Regen braking will be a doddle tto because Kia has easy to use independant padles behind the steering wheel for personal adjustment you don’t get on other brands.
I can’t see the Air trim being removed this quarter if I’m honest. As for the fastback, I don’t expect that to be a big seller in the UK and I don’t believe Kia do either.
