The KIA tailgates are incredibly light. After being dragged around a few shops and sat in the car waiting for a few more I could easily pull down an EV6 door with minimal effort. I honestly expected the tailgate to be a deal breaker as reaching up and heaving down a solid door just couldn’t happen and I’m pretty sure there’s a lot that I couldn’t manage on anything other than my best day. Even Mrs F found reaching an EV5 powered tailgate and pulling that down, with the extra resistance of the powered lifts, easy.
I think the problem with the fastback is that not many have seen one, I think there’s not one to view in the far south west.
