@Kezo That’s the question!!, there’s only one Mercedes/Smart dealer near me, about 15 miles away so not too far.
When I was looking to replace the previous Ateca there were a couple of cars that on paper looked like winners but turned out to be completely unsuitable physically.
Nissan Ariya 1660mm, got in and head was hitting roof, steering wheel was hitting legs with seat fully lowered and wheel fully up!.
Toyota BZX4 1600mm, couldn’t even get into it, couldn’t get my head under the roof due to the shape of the door frame and height of the floor.
I looked at the Omoda and Jaecoo EV’s but the APs are way too high, the only other one that may be a possibility is the Toyota Urban Cruiser/Suzuki e-Vitara at 1650mm, with a (currently) £0 AP it’s certainly worth looking at but the boot is very small (236L) and range/efficiency isn’t supposed to be great so may be a problem.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
